Conference: «Innovative energy conservation in post crisis period: strategy, practice, problems, perspectives for Ukraine» will be held

  March 23 , 2010  in Kiev in the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine

(2a, Zhelyabov str., conference hall, 4^th floor).

Aim of the conference – discussing strategy, problems and perspectives, practice of using innovative energy conservation in Ukraine. Dialog building, active partnership between representatives of government, business, science, civil society, for successful introduction energy conservation technologies on practice and get positive economic results.

During the conference will be considered the following circle of questions, which connecting with range of problems of innovative energy conservation in post crisis period in Ukraine:

Ø      Quality of legislative authority and regulatory base, which regulate sphere of energy conservation in Ukraine;

Ø      Stimulation of energy conservation projects by government of Ukraine;

Ø      Cooperation between government and scientific and technical community in the innovative energy conservation field;

Ø      Instruments of attract domestic and foreign investments resources for implementation of energy conservation innovative projects;

Ø      Presentation of innovative energy conservation perspective projects;

Ø      World experience of introduction and operation energy conservation technologies;

Ø      New standard  ÅÑ (EN 16001:2009 «Energy management system»);

Ø      Energy audit of enterprises and territories of Ukraine;

    The main theme of last ten years became energy conservation. Besides gas, prices of which increase each year, thinking about energy conservation technologies force ecologic situation in the whole world and limit of resources.  .

In Ukraine is existing energy conservation and decrease energy intensity program, which intended till 2030. The governmental program assumes decrease of energy intensity of economy for 50% till 2030.

The enterprises with energy intensity infrastructure, energy consumption national community facilities make Ukraine one of the most energy intensity country in Europe, and made production not competitiveness.

High energy intensity of GDP in Ukraine is result of substantial technological lag of most industries of economy from the level of the developed countries, unsatisfactory of a particular branch structure of national economy, negative influencing of „shadow sector”, in particular, import-export operations which objectively limit the competitiveness of national production and lie down weight on an economy – especially on conditions of its external power dependence. As differentiated of industrially developed countries, where energy conservation is the element of financial and ecological viability, for Ukraine – this is question of survival in the competitive environment and included in the European and world markets.

Theme of innovative energy conservation, today, is very topical for Ukraine, it is needed explanation, researching, analyzing positive experience of another countries.

During the conference «Innovative energy conservation in post crisis period: strategy, practice, problems, perspectives for Ukraine» participants will be have possibility not only listen presentations and reports of provide specialists but to take part in business discussion, also to take practical recommendations concerning questions which they are interested in, to communicate and to exchange experience, to present innovative projects and energy conservation products, to find new business partners and to give new information concerning of mechanism of financing of projects of innovative energy conservation in Ukraine.
